The Dispensary won the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) 'Pub of the Year – East London and City’ award in both 2014 and 2009. This immensely stylish dining pub – with its ‘country house in the city’ feel – is owned and run by classically trained chef David Cambridge and partner Annie Smith, aka the 'most welcoming' Front of House Manager.

"For us, quality and provenance is key. All of our produce is sourced daily from Smithfield and Billingsgate markets. It is very important to our team that we can support the local economy, as well as providing our customers with fresh food. We want those who dine here to feel ‘blown away’ by the dishes we create."

Outstanding pub food and la carte fine dining menus are available – or you can simply savour the wide selection of real ale, fine wines and spirits. Eat in The Dispensary’s welcoming bar or book a table in one of the three private dining areas within our historic grade two listed building, now exquisitely restored and redecorated in the English Heritage style.
